Our residences are located at La Candelaria historical and cultural center of Bogotá, and it’s main pride and tourist attraction. This neighborhood characterizes for its colonial and republican architecture houses, many of which have been declared sites of cultural and historical interest. It has a significant population of artists, teachers and students since it counts with several universities, investigation centers, theaters, libraries, cultural centers, and a wide offer of restaurants and recreational places.
Bogotá was founded here on the 6th of August 1538, the Independence of Colombia was declared here on the 20th of July 1810 and the Bogotazo was suffered here on the 9th of April 1948. Each house, street and corner of La Candelaria saves a story of the city, of the Bogotano and of Colombia.
La Candelaria is in the center Eastern part of Bogotá, on the skirts of Monserrate and Guadalupe. It’s a very centric neighborhood, to which you can access from Carrera 7ma, Carrera 10ma, Avenida Circunvalar, Calle 26, Calle 19, Calle 6 or through the Avenida Presidencial o Calle 7, be it by car, bike, Transmilenio or on foot.
